Another first range report micro 380

Stopped after picking up new micro on the way home and shot 4 clips, 2 flush and 2 extended, 26 total. No jams, everything went great except, the gun shot about 10-12ins low and to the left 3-4ins from 7-8yds. I'm going to clean gun and go back out and see if it is me or the gun. Also it has the old rod/spring in it.

I like.

Congratulations on the Micro Harold, good to hear she ran well. You may want to look into getting the updated recoil rig for the heck of it. Hope all goes well next time out.

Yes the recoil spring and guide rod are free, just call customer service and give them the serial number of your gun.

Thanks, it seems to be running good right now, but a spare set can't hurt.

control?

Not meant to be a jab, but that is one of the classic signs of a trigger control issue. Once you get used to the pistol--and it gets used to you, I wouldn't be surprised if you started to hit the ring consistently.

Went back out today and finshed off the box of 50, 24 left. Had 2 failure to return to battery, and one didn't lock open when empty.
I found when the front sight was half way in the rear slot, gun was right on, maybe left a little but all with-in 3in" @7yrds. Going to call monday about the rod and spring, and I need to do the white paint also, if that doesn't work then the 3 dot sights. Ordered 200rds of FMJ for the range.

Thumbs up

Got new spring & rod installed, waiting for weather to clear up. Also cycling with new spring is a lot harder.
Shipping from kimber was fast

Another first range report micro 380

Just installed a new spring and rod in my micro too. 150 rounds flawless first time out with new hardware. I did notice it would hang the first round on the ramp if I used the slide stop to drop the slide. As long as I slingshot the slide the first round loads every time. Just a note for when you try yours.

Range reports without pictures! I thought we had rules about this kind of thing. When you post range reports without pictures of the gun and targets involved you are discriminating against those with a reading impairment. Namely me! So let us put and end to this practice. Remedial readers lives matter!
