8/29/16 100% :-)

...after the last time out with the Micro, 1 failure to chamber a round and one spent shell not winding up all the way out of the gun, both using Fiocchi 95gr FMJ (blue box). I thoroughly cleaned her and used compressed air for the tight areas. Lubed as usual, as recommended by the manual, not too much. I kept the same flat wire spring in there at that point having 500 rounds on the count.
...today I took her out of the case and cycled the slide a few times but no extra lube. I'm wanting to confirm the pistol is in ready condition without adding anything from the prior cleaning. I took 50 Fiocchi 95gr FMJ (blue box) and 50 Fiocchi 95gr FMJ (red box). Ran the blue box stuff first and then the red. No problems, maybe my grip was lax last time out or the compressed air helped in cleaning???
...target was at 25'

Well, that is an encouraging report. The updated spring and rod made my Micro into a 100% reliable pistol.

Hi, Mark.
Let me just throw this out there, as a point to consider. If there is a dirty piece of machinery, blasting it with compressed air could force dirt further into the mechanism. This could result in decreased reliability and increased wear.

The Micro isnt particularly difficult to break down, if you decide to go airless.

Oh, I take pretty much everything except the trigger and hammer apart for cleaning. It may be in my head but it seems like I can get the channels in the slide better with the air?

Air should be ok for areas where you don't have to worry about blowing more junk in there, like the firing pin, fp safety, extractor, etc. I don't take apart my triggers/sears on a regular basis, either. I just mentioned it as something to be aware of.

Nice shooting. I use the wooden end of my Q-tips and push a wet patch with Hoppes #9 down the rails seems to get in there fairly well.
