Wink Micro stainless 380

I am new to Kimber. I got my micro stainless with rosewood grips on sale at Gander Mtn. on Monday. I finally made it to the range on Wed. It shoots as pretty as it is. My friend fired it as well, and says it is the best shooting little gun he has ever fired. You can feel the quality in your hand and the way it shoots says "Quality". I bought the 7 rnd etd. mag. Now it fits my hand just right. My only complaint is the take down procedures is a bear compared to sig. It seems like lining up the slide has something to do with the way you hold your mouth. Whereas, Glock is just a little tricky. Someone tell me what I am missing. Thanks DaveWright

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois davewright. Not being a Micro Carry owner I can't really offer any advice.

Welcome to the forum. The micro takes down just like any 1911. If you aren't familiar I would suggest watching a couple videos of the micro on youtube as that would show you better than me trying to write it out. Once you get it down it is really easy.

Welcome DaveWright! It took a little practice breaking down and assembly for Micro...the parts are a bit "small", but it's basically the same procedure as any 1911...smaller hands/fingers help (per my wife)!

Welcome to the site from Tennessee. I didn't know Gander ever had a sale on weapons. I will defer your question to the Micro owners.

Welcome to the forum from GA. No takedown tools needed like with the big versions. Just have to line up the little arch on the slide lock to arch notch in the slide. Need to hold with your thumb under the beaver tail and 4 fingers over top of slide and pull back to line up. Just finished cleaning my micro 380.
