I Guess Its Time For A Roadtrip Up North

Cleaned up the Micro 380 using the BT cleaning kit I ordered last week. Loaded up range bag with various ammo and headed to the range. Since the Sig mag was giving me mucho problems last week, it was off the roster. Used the Kimber 6 & 7 roind mags exclusively. Today I had American Eagle 95gr, Monarch 94gr and Winchester 95 gr.

Shot a little over 100 rounds with the following results:

6 rnd mag had FTF 6 times. Each time the slide would lock open as if the last round had fired. This happened with each type of ammo.

7rnd mag was better with just two FTF events.

The Monarch seemes to be the worst of all of the ammo Imused today.

I guess its time for the M380 to take a trip up North for a spa day (or two)

...sounds like it

Sorry to hear the "cluck" TG. On the bright side I'm confident the folks in Yonkers will be able to tune her up. I'd suggest sending in any of the Kimber magazines you have as well so they can be checked out too. Mine had to be sent in initially for intermittent hang ups and came back happy. Good luck :-)

Jeesh. Is this with the flat-wound spring? Sorry to hear about the problems.

Yes, it had the old spring when I bought it, but Kimber sent me the updated flat spring. Since installing that, if been to the rang three times and have had issues each time.

I'm confident that the good folks in Yonkers will tune it up food for me
