Range Report #5 for Micro 380 - Finally a Good One !

Picking up from my post earlier this morning. Installed the new slide stop spring last night. Micro 380 was all cleaned and lubed up with Frog Lube. Headed over to the range for lunch and put 100 rounds of Remington FMJ 95gr ammo through it. The only issue I had was the slide stop engaged on third round of last magazine. Everything else was rockin & rollin...... some fun shooting for sure, and a HUGE improvement over last week's round.

Also put 40 rnds through my new Ultra Carry II with no issues.

Will do a round of cleaning then head back next week.

Ah, nice shooting...looks like it did well for you! Glad to hear it is running smoothly for you. It really is a fun pistol to shoot, I'm hoping my will quit fussing soon. It's making it's 2nd trip back to Kimber in the morning. I was just out shooting my UC2 too!

Nice shooting! Seems like I am not the only one around here with an UC II. 1911 Kimbers are Kool with a capitol K!

They sure are Tom. This was my second outing with my new UCii and it is a dream to shoot.

I'm liking the looks of your new one also !!

While I think the topics of conversation seem to run to the new Kimber pistols, the M380 and M9, there are plenty of us on here with UC2s that do slip in a sentence or two on them! I for one, absolutely love my UC2, it's my favorite pistol and take it to the range every time I go. I was hoping to use it for EDC and I still may, but wanted to try something smaller that's why I moved to the M380, M9. Nothing but good things to say about my UC2. TGLeBlanc....good luck with both pistols, the UC2 is a great pistol, feels good in the hand and very accurate with minimal recoil.
