Smile Anybody Use A Kimber Micro Mag [6] In a Sig P238?

I have a Kimber Micro 6 rd from my .380 [since gone] can it be used in a Sig P238? Seems to fit OK.

Had you checked the feed on it? I have some Snap Caps that I use instead of the real things to check mags and the feed.

The Sig mags work in the Micro Carry so I don't see why the reverse shouldn't be true.

From what I've read here the Sig mags require a slight trimming to work in a Micro so there may be a gap or looseness when a Kimber is used in a Sig. I don't know that this would equate to a performance issue but I'd need to see a few hundred rounds run fail free before I'd feel good about it. Let us know how it goes.

The Sig extended mags are the ones that need trimming, he's asking about the standard 6 round mags.

...the posts I've read must have been in regard to the extend mags. Still wonder how it will work? I don't recall seeing anything about using the Sig product in a Micro.

...out of curiosity did Kimber take the CDP back as an exchange? I remember your .380 had been sent back several times with unusual problems.

That would be using the Kimber micro product in the Sig, the empty Mag fits/seats nicely.

...yes Kimber standard magazine in the Sig P238, I haven't seen that question asked here. Hope it goes well. Like I mentioned, post your findings when you can. Good luck with the new Micro 9 Raptor :-)
