First range visit with Mico Carry = Good

I fed the micro 150 rounds (50 Winchester flat nose and 100 Mag Tech round nose).
I had two failure to feeds within the first couple of magazines, and one time I believe that I must have depressed the mag release accidentally, but it never happened again. It went really well. It's a great shooter! I just ordered some of the SIG ammo from Bass Pro to try. Has anyone used this ?

That's great if she'll handle the flat tipped Winchester ammo. The Sig stuff will probably do fine. Generally RNFMJ 95gr is a good bet for the range, some Micros seem to be a bit more fussy than others? From the sound of it you have a good one. Congratulations, keep us posted and remember the pics :-)

I've used and stock Sig 380 ammo. It's ok. I had no problems with it in my Micro or my P238.

If you had only 2 FTFS on the first outing chances are you will one or none on the next trip. Despite what Kimber says, I believe some break-in period is necessary to get'em to 100%.

I don't think I will be buying any more of the Winchester flat tip ammo. I had to push the slide into battery a few times while trying to rack one into the pipe. Maybe some of these cases are a bit oversized.

Also, my Micro Carry has the newly designed recoil spring and guide rod luckily.

Are you using the slide stop to release the slide or sling shoting the slide? If you're using the slide stop you're not taking full advantage of the recoil spring to close the slide.

I had similar issues with the Winchester flat nose ammo. It has run Federal FMJ and hydra shok, as well as Freedom Munitions XTP flawlessly.
