(Cause I'm racing to ship some orders and visit my machinist with a box of bodies to be tumbled, anodized, and engraved!)
2sharp2 and I had MAJOR fun yesterday! The surprise he was holding back on me was -- not ONLY does he have the Kimber Sapphire (oooooh pretty!); he ALSO just picked up the Sapphire Pro (oooooohhh! PRETTIER!)
This picture is the first magazine (the extended one, obviously) for the Micro's first firing. The top four were 'slow' and the bottom three were "fast" -- not actually fast, just not as careful/slow trying to regain aim. No,
I did NOT clean and oil it before its first trip -- I'm still not sure HOW to do it -- so I'm gonna buy an hour of a gunsmith's time to have him or her teach me how to do all three... Arland and I did stop early on that put some oil on the Micro without disassembling it. (I brought the Slipstream kit with me.) I think, all told, about 150-200? of the .380 are now gone...
Delightful little gun! Once I know how to care for it, it will be my EDC. Very comfortable (although the 'came-with' magazine did bite my palm once, but that was user error... caught it between the metal edge and the well).
We had SUCH fun! I'll post more -- including a detailed description of the horrible (?) shooting (grip) mistake I make when (after) I fire...
