4/11/17 100% :-)

It's been a while since my Micro has been out of the safe so I gave each frame rail a drop of the Battle Born oil before heading out today. I ran 100 rounds of Fiocchi 95gr FMJ through two 6 round mags without a failure of any sort. After the first few mags I realized the pad of my trigger finger was not centered on the trigger. Once I corrected that things tightened up :-)
...target was at 7 yards.

Sport/Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

After seeing all the negative reports on this forum, it's always good to see reports where the Micros are functioning 100% reliability. Since my wife's came back last week, it's been 100% in 2 range trips.

Yes! Happy to hear a good range report with the 380. Mine has been coming around lately too. Don't know what it is but I gave mine a bit of a break too and the last 2 times I took it out, it was shooting fine!

Ditto that. Means there is hope at the end of the tunnel. It is hard to believe that most Micro .380s malfunction. It's probably just the opposite. Could be too, that many owners don't know their firearms have problems because they have not shot them much, or they just don't consider their malfunctions as that big of a deal, especially if they are not gun enthusiasts.

...Yup, that's the main reason I posted. There's a ton of the Kimber Micro .380s out the that that run fine. I think we tend to see the problems more than not on KT. I'd put it at about 2/3 of the members posting on the Micro .380 thread are new owners looking to get a squirrel out of their Micro tree :-) Most new Micro owners who don't have an issue never wind up on KT. Keep in mind too that any of the little .380s out there seem to be more prone to problems, Sig and Glock included. You can Google it :-) My thought is that it's a function of the smaller tolerances combined with the .380 octane.
...once the bugs are worked out they are fun to shoot though :-)

I agree, my wife has a Bersa Thunder 380 also and we've never had any problems with it shooting all types of ammo. Over on Bersachat, there are always threads about issues.....kinda like Kimbertalk

I have 2 Micros now that run 100%. A break-in period is definitely required in my experience. Some barrel polishing also seems to help. They are great pistols. However, I do have a wish list for Kimber.

Wish list:
1. Faster repair times
2. Make parts available to those who want to buy them.
3. Longer warranty
4. Better finish- KimPro sucks
