Looking for a Micro?

Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range actually has several (including at least one SS). // My Shooting Range 770-449-6200 //

I was down there today having my one-on-one class on how to clean (three) semi-auto(s): the Micro, my S&W 9mm, and my Compact CDP II .45. Casey Retterer, their training director, did a great job making me smarter! (And my guns cleaner!)

I was there two weeks ago and they had just gotten in six. (!) I was raving about the wee pretty Micro to another customer, and said that y'all here have been saying you WANT one, but your LGS never gets one to see... Casey (who was writing up an order for the guy I was talking to) said: "I just got six" -- and be brought out one of the SS ones for the guy to see. He says they still have a couple left.

Hey El, it's good to hear that you've got a coach to teach you the proper way to clean your guns. Nothing like being independent and not needing others to do it for you.

Congrats on your training session! Sandy Springs GC is a cool place. I like it but wish I lived closer. It is where I bought the Sapphire Ultra. Boy I could spend some money in there they have a lot of stuff I would love to buy.

Heck, I'd consider myself lucky just to see and/or handle a Micro!

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.

I went into the local Cabelas store last week and they had 22 Kimbers to choose from.
I finally seen the Sapphire, Micro's in stainless and blued and the Master Carry Pro among many others..
They aren't shy about their prices but it was the best live gun porn I have seen in awhile..
In fact I could have worn my ball cap in a different place than I normally do if ya know what I mean..

I'm going to Cabelas Friday to drool and hopefully buy something not metal detectable.

If y'all have a Dick's Sporting Goods nearby, that's where I first got to put fingerprints on a Micro. (I managed not to drool on it. ) They sell at list, though... Sandy Springs {wince} I'm hesitant to write the price Casey said, because I can't assure you it's still the price... (although he said it like it was just, you know, what they sell it for) but Casey said their price for the SS one was $617. (I'm assuming adding GA tax (unless you're not from GA) and maybe the FFL fee? (I didn't ask cause I can't buy a second one, you know?) (And I'm assuming the black one is cheaper, cause it's list is lower?)

Really nice gun store -- I second everyone's comments above!
El

p.s., Thanks Chuck, but I STILL preferred having Michael do it for me!
