Thumbs up Good news! Range Report

Went to the range today and put 50 flawless rounds of Blazer Brass 95 gr.FMJ ammo through my M380! It was awesome! It just makes me so happy, but now of course it's got to continue on this course!

The M9 also came through like a champ with 50 rounds of Blazer 147 gr. TMJ (flat nose) ammo. My break through here was going back to using the 6 round magazines! They performed flawlessly, but I used 2 7 round mags and had my husband shoot with a 7 round mag, and the mags would drop down with almost every shot! All my 7 round mags are from Kimber, so I am going to call them and talk to them about this. Maybe they will take these back and send me new mags.(?) At least I know that I have a reliable carry pistol with the M9 and the 6 round mags.

A few more flawless trips to the range with the M380 and I can feel that this too will be a reliable carry option for me. Damn! I feel really good, and so happy after this outing! These two pistols shot the crap out of those targets....so accurate, even my husband was amazed!

That's Wonderful......

Please keep us posted about the magazines.

I have six 7 round mags.
Never any trouble but interested in your problem and how it turns out.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about the 7 round mags. I have been very careful about my hand placement so I know that I am not hitting the mag release, but as you fire you can feel the mag dropping. It comes down about 1/4 of a inch...just enough to prevent the next round from loading. I do more whacking and racking that I do shooting! I had the same problem with a modified Sig 7 round mag, but I have never had any problems with the 6 round mags, so they will have to be what I use for now.

A very big "CONGRATS" to you and to both of your shooters. I would also call KCS to see when they could swap out your 7 rounds mags because there are too may of us that haven't had an issue with them.

This is strictly non of my business. And only my opinion.....

But I would further peruse the issue with the gun.

If the is something there that it will function with a 6 round mag and miss-function with both a Kimber and Sig Sauer 7 round mag, it clearly points to the firearm.

Either way Kimber will take care of you......

Keep posting... I'll be watching.......
