It was a 380 range day.
Took my Micro 380 and my Sig P238 and put 100 rounds through each.
Ammo: Blazer 95 gr. FMJ
The Micro Advocate is definitely improving, but still having some failures to load only on the 7th round, it's just not making it into the chamber...it's pointing up. Had 4 failures out of 100, so it's improving. When I left the range in discussing problem with the owner, he said I might need an adjustment on the mag follower, so he adjusted them for me. I'll see next time if that made a difference or not.
The Sig nickel coated P238 is really accurate, holy cow. I like the extra few ounces of weight to it over the Kimber. I was shooting a 52 card shoot-up target at 5 yards and this thing hit an awful lot of bull's eyes! I didn't take a photo of the target, but the Kimber wasn't far behind it. They are both accurate and fun to shoot. On the down side, I had 4 failures to load with this pistol too, and 2 of them were with the Kimber 7 round mag that I was using. It's interesting that the Kimber mags fit the Sigs but not the other way around. Prior to today, I hadn't had any loading issues with the Sig. Without going through my notes, I think I have about 500-600 rounds through it.
Received notice from Kimber yesterday that they have received my Micro9. So the wizard will be trying to figure out my mag dropping issue, adjusting extractor, and adding my night sights. This is it's first trip and aside from the mag issues and getting hit in the head with ejections, it shoots perfectly. I hope it comes back even better!
Attached target is 100 rounds, 50 from each pistol at 8-10 yards.
