I personally wouldn’t click onto an unknown link from someone new to this forum.

Me neither. Especially when the post itself is irrelevant to the topic.

Failing to return to battery isn't unusual on a new micro.
A little judicious polishing and a lot of working the slide by hand can help.

As a wise man has said here in the past, putting a little toothpaste on the rails and cycling the slide 100 times (and then cleaning and lubing it well), will help polish the rail slide tight fit a little enough to make a difference.

I must be the luckiest gun owner in history. The only firearm I had to fix other than cleaning and modification was a P-08 Luger that I had to work on to get the firing pin to reset after it was fired. I have many firearms including three Kimbers.

Is it a Micro or a Micro 9.

I don't think it's a 9mm, the post OP is from '15 before there were Micro 9s. Kimber did redesign the original recoil assembly for the .380 as it was prone to being problematic. By most accounts the new flat wire set up cures most of the problems.
...on the link, ya, I wouldn't click on it. Perhaps Uncle Chuck can get it verified or pull it.

It's gigo for some inane nonsense! It does not pertain to us, in the sense of our discussions.
