Thumbs up newby to Kimber

Just purchased a new micro for DW. Up until last week she had never fired a handgun. The first was a Ruger lcr-22, 20 rounds. Second was a Ruger sr-22, 30 rounds, all within a 10" circle, which I thought was darn good.
Yesterday, after looking at many different autos she settled on trying the micro. After shooting 20 rounds within 6/7 " , she said "OK" let's buy this. As we left the range to check out one of the RSOs looked at her, then at me, as if to say, 'up till now only firing a .22.....good show' .
Needless to say I'm pretty proud of her. :-)

.22 is the place to start. Little/no recoil, not too loud, doesn't produce a flinch or anticipation. There's a lesson there, I think.

Welcome to the forum from Colorado. Tell your DW she's welcome here too - we could use a couple more females!

Welcome to the forum from Northern Illinois. Now that she is hooked on shooting, it gets a bit easier to justify your own purchases. though, with mine, if I buy a new gun I have to buy her one, so watch out.
