Frame damage by guide rod

New guide rod is causing damage to the frame of my micro,my question is it normal.

The guide rod should not be doing that. You say new guide rod, is that a replacement or original guide rod?

Itís a replacement.I haved shot around seven hundred rounds with it.

Was your picture taken front the muzzle end back towards the hammer ? If so this is what mine looks like. Yours looks beat to hell.

Is that a Micro 9 or 380 ?

Yeah it was a dumb question on my part. Why did you replace the factory guide rod and is it still the factory recoil spring ? Yonkers tune -up ?

It had the round wire and Kimber sent me the flat wire spring and guide rod,thanks for the pictures
