Holster

Sorry, could not find the thread. Looking for recommendations for IWB holster for my .380 Raptor.
Not Kydex, want something softer against my skin. THANKS!

Hey Karen -- please go check out Nate Squared Tactical -- I LOVE their holsters -- smooth, soft suede against the skin; neoprene to keep sweat away from the gun, and gun oil away from the skin; and nicely tanned leather against the gun. LOVE that you don't need to wear a belt -- and it holds the .380 securely! I have a review thread here : https://www.kimbertalk.com/forums/ki...er-review.html .
(I got their elasticated version rather than the Kydex one.... but that only matters to the gun, not my skin! The Flashbang is Kydex (that's the wrapped to the bra/holds the gun under the breast; -- I show that holster too, on page two of my review), and the maker suggests using adhesive moleskin to hold the kydex off the skin.)

Just now, looking here: https://gallowayprecision.com/kimber/micro-9/

COOL looking holsters; may have to try one!

I'll go look and find out -- but just -- OMG! Flashbang has a wonderful new version of the Flashbang.... Teddy -- as in Teddy Bear -- it's the same (I'm guessing) as the original Flashbang (kydex only) -- but covered in soft suede!! I may have to buy one just because!

(May wait and see if they get colors... Don't just need a pretty gun, need a pretty holster!)

Ah, looked: My N8^2 is the "Original Subcompact" https://n82tactical.com/product/original-subcompact/ -- as I mentioned, when I got the Micro, they didn't list it. Emailed them and they said this was the one.

For that very reason, when carrying, I try to avoid going commando.

Most of my holsters are leather, which is pretty comfortable against skin. I have one more that I rarely use because it's IWB but the gun is better suited for OWB. It's a Stealthgear Ventcore. It's actually soft. I'm considering getting one for another gun.

I have a few of these Winthrop Holsters and I think they are great holster especially for the money. Amazon also carries them and they have a few different styles of IWB.

Thanks! Now, what is the difference between yours and "Hers Subcompact?

I've used "Wright Leather Works" IWB holster for 2 years now. Its so comfortable I forget I've got it on sometimes. The retention is as good now as it was new. Very happy with it.
