380 fixed for 20 bucks

Bought it supposedly NIB from a local citizen. Took it to the range and it locked on the slide stop after every round. After 10 rounds I put it back in the bag. Went home, took it apart and saw that the recoil spring looked a little short. Ordered a Kimber spring and when it came in I compared it to the one in the gun. Yep, it was longer so I thought problem was fixed.
Went to the range this morning, chambered a round from a full mag, fired it and same damn thing. After 5 rounds I put it back in the box and took it straight to my gunsmith. He took one look at it and said he knows the problem. He disassembled it, took out the slide stop spring and put a tighter bend in it. Re assembled it, loaded it up with Fiocchi and promptly went through the rounds with no problem. 20 dollars and 10 minutes and it was fixed. In case anyone is having this problem look at this slide stop spring first.

Tim, too bad I didn't see your post earlier. I have the same problem. Called Kimber and they asked me to send it back to them. Took it to UPS today and it's on it's way. Will post once I get it back. They even paid the shipping.
