Colt Mustang recoil springs

My Micro 380 at times (most of the time) feels like it is struggling to return the slide to battery.....I believe the Kimber spring is and 8 lb spring. Brownell's sells 11 and 12 lb springs for the Colt Mustang....Does anyone know for sure if they will fit/work or not?

TIA

Lon

I believe I tried a Wolf 10 lb spring before and it didn't seem to make much difference in the performance. When mine was new it seemed to "labor" going into battery also. I throated the barrel and polished the ramp and it made a world of difference on my gun. Its worked like a champ ever since.

Before Kimber updated the recoil set up I tried the Wolff 11# spring. It worked fine with Fiocchi ammo but not with other stuff I tried? I presumed it was because the Fiocchi is a little hotter. Others reported the heavier spring worked great for them.
I get good function out of the stock flat wire set up...

Hey Jeff, throating is essentially honing it out so the cartridges can slide in more smoothly. There may be a sticky in the gunsmith area with a video.
