Recoil spring

I put a new recoil spring in my micro after 2500 rounds.
The new spring is about an inch longer then the old one.
Is that normal?

Yes, the recoil spring will become shorter after even a little use. There will be some +/- fluctuation depending on the ammo you use. Kimber suggests a 1000 round change interval so if you're old one lasted 2500 you got your moneys worth.

Yes, absolutely normal. That's why you needed a new one.
