6/4 .380 fun :-)

I had a bunch of things to do today, the usual for a day off...
I was somehow able to work a quick run to the range in :-) Today I brought 50 Fiocchi 95gr FMJ and 25 Fiocchi 90gr XTP, ran the ammo through two 6 round magazines. Another fine day in Microville, no problems. In looking at my notes it turns I'm at about 4900 rounds downrange with this little darling. The overall failure rate is <.5%, that's including the majority of the problems which occurred prior to the updated recoil set up. I haven't had a hang up in at least the last 600 rounds and there's never been a hang up prior to about 30 rounds.
The FMJ ammo was to the body, the XTP to the head. The XTP sure makes cleaner holes! Target was at 7 yards.

Cousinmark, your blaster must be one of the highest time .380s in the country. I had about 2000 rds on my 1st one before Kimber resumed ownership of it, but that’s nothing compared to 4900 rds downrange. At an average of $0.30 per round, you’ve spent $1470 enjoying that little peashooter. Add your range fees to that, and you have some serious $$ invested. Glad to hear the Micro .380 will go the distance.

I’d like to hear other Micro .380 owners with high round counts report in.

I’ve got 2300 rds thru my micro. It’s exactly 1 yr old.
It does seem to not like wwb, otherwise eats everything

Vided, my Micro did not care for flat nose ammo either, like the WWB or that from Freedom Munitions. Glad you are putting your .380 through its paces and having much success with it.
