Red face Are you still carrying your Kimber Micro .380?

I purchased a Micro .380 in March 2016 to use as my everyday carry weapon. Iíve had my ups and downs with it due to reliability issues, with Kimber even replacing my original one with another one just like it. I am still carrying the firearm because I like itís size, weight, 1911 form factor, and because I am comfortable with the .380 being adequate in an up close and personal encounter.

I have two questions:

(1) How many of you, who have had your Micro .380 for a year or two, are still carrying it everyday?

(2) If you have moved on to something else, why did you do that?

I alternate between my Micro and my Sig 238. I carry the sig more because I have more rounds through the Sig than the Micro. Have had no problems with either one.

I carry mine every now and then in the summer when wearing light clothing. But I like to alternate . Micro 9, micro 380, solo, Sig p238, p938. But lately Ive been carring my Sig p365, light-kind of small and it has 10 plus 1 or 12 plus 1. But Fall Winter and Spring its my Kimber ultras in 9 and 45.

Mrs Kid does. About three years ago I bought her the Micro CDP LG. It is her EDC. She also has three other 380s, a Sig P238 Rainbow, a Micro Bel Air and a Smith and Wesson Bodyguard. She's a wee lass and is very comfortable with the Micro 380 series. She operates and shoots them all with much proficiency and accuracy. My micro 9 SS LG is just too much for her. And forget about my 45s.

I like the Sig P365 too. It has many advantages over the Micro .380, but the Microís easy to rack slide, reduced recoil, and big white night sights are nice too.

I alternate between my Micro 9 & Micro 380. The 380 is slightly more comfortable when I'm going to be sitting a lot (at office or driving) so that is a decision factor. If I know I will be in some less than desirable areas, the Micro 9 makes the trip with me.

The Micro 380 in a DM Bullard Bodyguard holster is so comfortable I sometimes forget I have it strapped on. Yesterday, while driving back from lake, I actually thought I had forgotten the 380 and had to move a little to feel it on my hip.

Why do I still carry it ?? aside from the comfort factor, I trust it, it is accurate enough when I'm doing my part in pulling the trigger I feel I can use it with the primary intent of getting the heck out of a bad situation.

Have my Micro Raptor with me today. Itís my EDC for pocket carry at work. Itís my backup to get to work since I OC a CZ-82 getting to work on the motorcycle.

Mine hasnít had any hiccups at all and is more accurate than I expected a pocket .380 to be.
