Loose, would just barely catch slide and lock open when firing at first, have not had stop back out or catch lately ( last 100 rounds). i love shooting the Kimber Micro as it is controlable and accurate.

Make sure you haven't lost the little slid stop retaining spring when you reassembled your gun.

the slide stop spring is in place, and as ibmikey said "loose". if i strip the pistol put the slide stop in and turn it slide stop down the slide stop falls out. i would think the slide stop spring should exert a slight downwrd pressure to just keep things in place.

i tweaked the spring with my jewlers pliers now the stop stays in place if turned on side but falls out if i bang the gun a couple of times.

thinking of etching a shallow groove in the little step on the slide stop pin where the end of the spring rests. for a more positive capture of the pin.

wife is not too happy that pistol came apart while at the range.

I'm having similar issue with a brand new micro raptor. The slide stop pin completely fell out at the range today and caused a failure to feed. This was the second time at the range and I have shot approx. 200 rounds through it. Gun ran flawless during the first trip to the range last week.

While cleaning the gun tonight I noticed, if I remove the mag and cycle the slide quickly with pin side down, the pin will fall out of the frame.

I might give Kimber a call in the morning; since I'm not alone in this maybe they have a fix worked out. I agonized for weeks about spending the extra money on this raptor over a p238. I honestly love everything about the gun, but for close to $900... I expect much better performance.

Gave mine a quick test and it will fall out also without any force. But I ha E had it at the range several times and never had an issue.

Zoomer, your video is set to private, meaning we can't watch it.

It's working now, when the slide stop was out did you check to see if the slide stop spring was still seated in the frame?
