Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Sleepereaper, congratulations on the new Kimber Micro Carry. How about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership?

Welcome from Northern Illinois. You will like that Micro. Not sure about the trigger options. While the Micro is similar to a Sig and a Colt Mustang, I'm not sure what would fit, or what options there are for these small 1911's.

Check out a thread called "My Micro Carry" go to post #6 for a comparison of the Kimber and Sig parts. The two guns are identical except for the recoil springs, Sig uses a flat wire and Kimber uses a round wire spring. That being said I'd bet that a skeleton trigger for a Sig will fit the Micro Carry. I used a trigger from W Engineering USA to replace the composite triggers on my Sig P238 and P938, it's just the trigger pined on the end of a trigger bar.

We love our Kimber Micro Carry...we have gotten used to the trigger pull on it. I then bought a Bodyguard 380 with a long trigger pull. Love both of them...

Take it to a good gunsmith, he can customize it the way you want it. I've done one trigger myself. (I'm a machinist by trade) just drew up a model of what I wanted and the machine did the rest. Made it out of titanium. But yes, a good smith can disassemble and skeletonize the trigger.

Sounds like stiff mag springs, load em up and let them sit a while, then try em the next range session
