New Micro STS !

Just got one and joined up today and this is a nice gun that shoots well. Fired around 50 rounds and had no trouble whatsoever. Dont know why that Kimber (at least the smaller pistols) seem to get a bad rap sometimes. The Solo is a gun that i was looking at, but got scared off by all the bad press. I even heard some bad press on the Micro Carry, although nothing close to the Solo.

Very nice looking kimber you have there. Glad to hear you had a good experience your first time out. I am sure the the more you shoot it the better you will like it.

This will be my new pocket carry, bumping the Kahr CW380. I have already ordered a Adams Holsters Sharkbite leather front pocket holster for it, but it will be 8-10 weeks. So, the Desantis Nemesis will have to fill in for a while.

Sounds cool. Post a picture when you get it. Sucks having to wait for 8 to 10 weeks

Thanks, I tried to get feedback on another forum before i bought one, but i guess they were all scared off by the bad press of the SOLO.
Pictures should show up on my first post, didnt get any range pictures though. Oh, and i will post pictures of the Holster when i get it.

Seems like it's 50/50 with the Micro when it comes to performance. Either they perform really good or they perform really bad. I love my Kimbers but i have to admit this is the first one I have ever had any major problems with. I also have both the Sig P238 and P938 which are basically the same gun and they have been flawless right out of the box. I sure hope yours continues to work well, sounds like you might have got one of the good ones.

Yea, i hope it continues to do well because i passed up the SIG P238 HD Nickel in favor of this Micro. The HD version was going to be so much heavier and more expensive, but it did have nite sites. I do wish the base model Micro had nite sites because i liked the look of the STS better than the Advocate. Just personal preference. Also, i already own one SIG, Kahr, and a couple HK's, and used to have a couple Berettas. So, I was anxious to try another brand and had it narrowed down to a Kimber Micro, CZ 75 Compact PCR, or a Ruger SP101 Wiley Clapp. I know, a wide variety there, but I could only get one at this time. The Micro allows pocket carry and i find myself doing this more and more because it is quick and easy with the Kahr CW380. I just wanted a better quality gun than the Kahr CW. Man, that CW is ten times harder to rack the slide than the Micro!
