Talking Fresh Micro Bel Air

I just wanted to share some pics of my new Micro Bel Air. I was visiting my LGS and noticed this little gem in a display case. I asked to hold it and after that I smitten. I had to own it. I got it for $679. I don't know if that was a decent price or not, but I wasn't leaving without buying. (Well, ok, if somebody got one for $500, I don't want to hear about it.) Anyway, I also got the red HK display stand/rack in the deal and a second mag (actually a Colt labeled mag). I am an HK owner and really drooled over that little stand and wanted that form my shop bench in the basement. I joined this forum to connect with other Kimber owners. I learned that several guys bought a Bel Air model for their wives, suggesting that this model is more effeminate that the other Micros. I can see that. But to me, being very secure in my masculinity, only saw a 55-67 Chevy Bel Air and I am a Chevy fan boy...well Corvette actually. Regardless this Bel Air model had my name on it. Now I can't wait for decent weather to go to the range to actually shoot it. There are no indoor ranges near me. I live out on the prairie and it is freaking cold today.

Thanks guys. JMS, nice pic of that 1957. I also like Marina Blue with a white top. This is me in my 1967 BB in front of the Corvette Museum.

You're not the only man that has a Bel-Air.

Very nice Donald. If it shoots half as good as it looks you should be very happy. Still waiting for my LGS to call me about the one I ordered for the wife. No pun intended.

Good looking pistol, named after a classic bow tie.
