Wife's new Micro

New Micro at LGS got the wife's full attention and it followed her home. We had perfect weather yesterday , so we hit the range. I enjoyed watching the Micro break in, many failures to return to battery required a thumb to nudge the slide forward. At about 100 rounds, that issue disappeared entirely. The pistol does struggle feeding a strongly truncated bullet in first round. Feeds a mildly truncated as the first round 100%. Rather that adjust mag lips, I'm thinking the solution is to stay away from truncated bullets??

This is the first Kimber I've shot and my feeling is that this pistol is well worth what I paid. Dramatic difference from some of the other 380 pocket pistols that have found their way to our place. Anyway, just sharing,

Doc

Hey Doc, outstanding, and you experiences are similar to others. At least regarding suitable ammo types.
