Thumbs up Spent $11 at gun show

I went to a gun show yesterday and spent $11 total on two items for my Micro. The best deal was Don Hume #15 holster for $8. I took a chance that it might fit my Micro. Bingo! When I got home I found the Bel Air fit better that I hoped and nearly perfectly. I am guessing it was made for the popular P238 or Mustang. The next item was a military spec grenade bag with two snap straps for a belt carry ( or "II-hand grenade pouch" as worded on the tag ). Notice it holds five mags three of which are 7 capacity. Cool!

I am so happy with this inexpensive score. I can't wait to take my new gear to the range. Don't you just love "pickin' "at gun shows.

Isn't $11 a dollar more then it cost to get into the show? You are a big spender.

My last gun show I spent $8 to get in and $2 for parking. The prices were so jacked up I did not spend a dime inside.

They are a joke now. More jerky, fake collector coins, political junk, etc. I haven't been to one in years. Haven't been to a good one in over 15 years.

The show's admission cost $5.00 and parking was free. I talked to a few folks and had a good time. Then I went over to a little LGS that a few guys I know operate. I hung out there and chewed the fat for an hour and checked out some of their new inventory, bought some ammo and called it a good day.

We get several shows in our area. The ones that are at local VFW Halls and Fire departments aren't very good and those I don't go to anymore, but we do have some 500-2000 tables that can be good. There is one in Philadelphia that's between 1500-2000 tables that I would like to go to but never did. It's about a 2 1/2 hours away and always comes around on weekends I have other plans.

Been a pretty long time since a found any good deals like you did but yes always enjoyed finding useful items most people don't want.

Shows around here parking is free but costs between $8-$10. Sometimes you can print off online a coupon for a dollar or two off admission.
