Thumbs up 100 perfect rounds!

I went to the range today to shoot my Ruger MkIII SS Comp pistol and my Kimber Micro.

The Micro performed flawlessly.

I used both 6 & 7 round mags. I shot 50 rounds of Lawman 95gr TMJ (ball) and 50 rounds of HPR 100gr TMJ (ball). After a total of over 600 rounds on the Micro, I finally enjoyed complete satisfaction with a completely broke-in gun. I am estimating the total rounds as I cannot access my Excel log at this writing. I am still on the oem spring, too. I experienced several annoying FTF & FTE along with a few 'fail to return to battery' in the past using a variety of ammo. This is the first time I used Lawman.

I am elated.

Nice report Donald, glad to hear your Micro is broken in. I've used Speer Lawman TMJ a number of times and I've never had any issues with function.

Nice Micro. How'd the MkIII do? Hope to get my Ultra Aegis II and new MkIII to the range next week

The MKIII was spotty. I put through 300 rounds and had far to many FTFs and FTEs. Actually. It is getting better, but I am disappointed with it for now. It is an extremely fun gun to shoot, with a 7" barrel, but I still have my work cut out 'getting this dog to hunt'. LOL

I have an original MKI Bull Barrel target model that will drive tacks. I am sorry to learn that Ruger may not be making the Mark with same reliability/quality construction(?). Let us know if you get the problem addressed.

Good to hear she's smoothed out for you Donald. Maybe seeing that new hot little Sig in the safe next to her had something to do with it :-)
Are you running the stock spring or the Wolff?
