The key to photographing mirror finish is OFF CAMERA lighting. You will never get it with a cell phone !. Then exposure and development must be perfect. Look at some of the adds for the thing. Some do get it. But most do not. Even the Kimber Add could be better! Glossy metallic is hard. The brand and type of film is a factor. Digital camera? Tough ! I know much more about photography than I will EVER know about guns.
Why don't you send it to me, and I will photograph it and send back a beautiful picture !
Bill, I don't buy guns that I don't shoot. I plan on shooting the Gold Combat but probably only at the range and probably not 5,000 rounds but you never know.
As far as the pics go, I posted a pic from another owner that is the best photo I have seen. When I get time and it stops raining I may drag the old Nikon D80 outside with the GCLE and take a few pics.
I don't care much about making great pics because I HAVE the gun to look at.
