Talking New Non-Kimber Pretty

So the hubby felt that I needed a .22 so I could work on the fundamentals without blowing through so much money in .45 ammo. We went looking today and found this pretty at our LGS. It's a Browning Black Label 1911-22. I wanted to stay with something 1911-like, and this fits the bill. It's really cute It's also tiny and feels like a cap gun compared to my .45 in both weight and size. I adore the Buckmark so the grips really rock my world.

Can't wait to shoot this weekend

Compared to my filthy .45

I bet I'm not the only one that didn't know Browning made that!!
Mental note: Add to list!

If you would have asked here I would have suggested a Kimber .22 Conversion Kit, but I like your Browning even better.

Congratulations on the new toy. I think you will like it. I got my 1911-22 a couple of years ago for the very same reason you got yours. I enjoy using it for target practice.

I do recommend you get a couple of recoil spring guides and keep them on hand. The guide gets hammered pretty hard. They are made of some kind of nylon. I was surprised how bad it got before I replaced mine.

I will say that it has worked well with every brand of 22LR cartridge I have put in it.

Enjoy!
