New IWB Holster

Just received my new Atom Clinger Holster for the Kimber Micro Sapphire. Already carried it shortly after getting it. Sits nice!

Love Clinger holsters. Here's my EDC Kimber Eclipse in a Clinger Scorpion.

Looks good. Hopefully the Kydex won't damage your finish.

Nice looking holsters but like Steve I'd be worried about the finish especially on the Micro Sapphire.

I don't worry about the wear, even leather will wear the finish. I didn't buy it to look at, it's a carry gun. If it was a 5" target model or high end Kimber I wouldn't think of carrying it. I also chose the Eclipse Ultra for the extra weight of all stainless for durability and better recoil control. I would never carry a "too pretty Gun"

How much better does a stainless pistol fare against kydex?

Okay let me get this straight. A pretty gun won't save your life like a good old beat up carry gun. So, only buy a cheap one for EDC? Next question. Who are you saving the pretty ones for? Do you have folks file through your home and pass by a presentation case? And what happened to the great gun with user "Patina" on it that is proof how much you like it. Same with your holsters. I worked with guys who shined EVERYTHING with leather products and gun products. They didn't get out of the car much. Just playing the devils advocate here. And boy am I quick to get to the door after they drop dead so I can get a great deal on those beauties. Hey, I'm an opportunist, what the heck?
