Here is a quick video of the new RCP and a couple holster options for the Ultra platform. This is for you to watch when you are really, really bored. lol

So how long did it take you to get used to carrying at 2 o'clock? I'm not a big fan of IWB holsters, but if I were to use one I think appendix carry would be the way to go for ease of clearing garments and access to grip.

I can't remember a time when I didn't carry appendix, IWB. When I've tried to carry IWB at 4 or 5 o'clock, I have never felt comfortable. I like having the weapon in front of me. Just my preference. I think body shape has a lot to do with whether appendix carry is comfortable or not. In my opinion, the 1911 platform is perhaps the safest weapon to carry appendix, if someone is worried about having a loaded barrel pointed in a "sensitive" direction . Even the Solo, which is striker, the spring is only partially "loaded," trigger pull completes the remaining
tension necessary for the striker to be fully engaged. Thus making it appendix carry safe (IMO).
All the said, when I go OWB, the 3-4 o'clock is my preference.
