Grease on a Solo? Let's get controversial👀

Quick video showing something I do to my Solo which I discovered helped mine.

Thanks Glenn. Good video and good information. I just may take my Solo out of the safe and give this a try. It was just that racking situation and jam that made me realize I had to retire my Solo. I'll give this a try see if it makes a difference.
I sure do miss my Solo and would love to try anything that would make her function right and smoother. Buy the way I often thought about applying grease to some of those areas but grease seems to be frowned upon. With what I put into that gun ($$$$$) a little grease ain't going to hurt anything. Thanks

Thanks, hope it helps! It won't make the slide any easier to rack, but it might help that first bullet not "hand up" as it slides in. I had the same thought as you, trying a little grease couldn't hurt.

I use grease (slide glide) on the rails of my broken in guns. Kimber frowns on the use of grease because most people tend to over apply it. For new tighter fitting guns I use nothing but oil until they're broken in.

What are those little packs that come in the case when you buy a Kimber ?? Looks like grease, but maybe not..
