Let us know how it shoots. They are much smaller than I thought they would be.

Got mine on Wed as well. Love the way it shoots. Also like the speed strip that came with it now people of the forum explained to use it.

Still LOVE the hell out of mine after three weeks. Shot it so much that the rubber grip wore through my skin on my thumb. I guess that I don't think of it as "small" per se, because I've been used to carrying my Solo 9, Micro 380, and Kahr CW380 for the past couple of years. The K6s revolver is quite a bit larger and heavier than all of those. But I like it because I can shoot light .38spcl loads or very heavy .357 mag loads. It's got the stout build of the Ruger SP101, but the finesse and refinement of a good S&W.

It's a good thing that the Kimber delivers on those fronts, because it's so much more expensive than the Ruger and S&W snubbies. Both have been standard bearers for many years. Despite the fact that I've already purchased mine, hopefully the Kimber revolvers will eventually become more price competitive with Ruger and S&W. I see a lot of "who do they think they are?" sentiment towards Kimber by fans of those other respected brands.

If Kimber would have priced there new entry into the revolver at a price lower than S&W. The S&W and Ruger people would probably be saying where did they cut corners on the gun to put it out at a lower price point than S&W or Ruger! Kimber has to stand the test of time with their new revolver the price difference at this point and time I do not think is the most important factor happy customers will determine the K6 longevity also determine any other models possibly being added to the line. As in the 44 magnum or possibly lighter calibers like the .22 LR. So far most every K6 owners seems happy at least the the reviews that I have read. By no means have I read them all!

I see the K6 has a recessed cylinder like like S&W used to have in their revolvers. Hmmm I kind of think it speaks of quality myself. Probably costs a little more to do the machining it is at least one more production procedure.

Lot's of features on the K6S add up to it's extra cost. All worth it in my book. A S&W PC gun cost usually exceeds the Kimber's and overall I am more impressed with the Kimber.
