K6s night sight

So has anyone in the industry even started thinking about aftermarket sight's for the K6S? I've searched everywhere and can't find jack and it's the only upgrade left i still need for this revolver.

I've made a couple calls to Trijicon and Meprolight and nothing as of yet. Kimber CS said they will offer night sights for purchase but not until they had adequate night sights to fulfill complete gun orders currently shipping out the door.

Strange thing...some models/versions of the K6S have 3-Dot White sights however they are not "Night Sights."
But the Kimber website calls them "Night Sights."

I feel it is too early for a company to R&D night sights for the K6S but I've been wrong before.

I just don't see how the design is all that different from the sp-101 i figured someone would of seen if some sight's from other revolver's would work.

Kimber is listing the K6s with nightlight on there website as an option as mentioned above, so I would think they will be available soon. I bet the aftermarket companies will follow soon after.

Was checking out the Trijicon sight and they mentioned ToolTechGunSight so I emailed them.

They offer:
- low light/no light which has a green lamp front sight and your choice of green or yellow lamp rear sights
- daylight sight which has green lamps all around and offers a surround color for the front sight in white, yellow or orange

$235 + shipping

Also inquired about "just the front" and was told $145 + shipping

Hope that helps!

I mean no disrespect, but what good are night sights on a up close and personal gun like a snubbie? If it is that dark, I am not going to pull the trigger unless I can visibly identify my target. I keep a flashlight beside my bedside gun for just that reason.

I'm a cook at a sports bar and most of my shifts i don't leave till past midnight, i only live a few blocks from the bar so generally I walk to and from work to save on gas. The night sights could be a big help if i ever had another issue on one of my walk's home.

Yes, i have those sights but i need to change them because they "catch" on my carry holster. Ankle type. The sights are not rounded, just cut at 45 degrees. I may have to round them myself or leave them off (the front one is off now) but I have no idea how to remove the rear.
Anyone know how?
