altamont grips for K6?

Anyone here have a set of Altamont grips on their K6? If so how well do they fit the gun? I ask as I've had a set of eagle grips I had to return due to poor fit on a J frame.

They were loose no matter how tight you screwed them down. I'm think of getting their dark walnut smooth boot grips for mine but would like owner feedback first. Thanks.

May not help cause I don't have a K6S but I have purchased several sets of grips from Altamont for several different makes and models of pistols and they have all fit perfectly.

They also have good customer service.

This is a picture of the Altamont grip I have. They fit extremely well with no gaps or looseness

Those grips look awesome. I was considering buying a set and after seeing your K6 and the comments, I think I'll pull the trigger. Thanks

I have the silverbacks and they fit well. But I might have to order the ones that Agincourt has on his. Those are hot!

I just purchased a K6S yesterday and ordered the exact same grips from
Altamont. I am happy to hear about the fit.

I have ordered from them before and they are nice folks to do business with.

I cannot wait to shoot this baby and post a range report.

FYI guys, the Rosewood look more brown in real life than red. From that perspective I'm a little disappointed

Those grips look gorgeous. How do they feel and grip compared to the original Crimson Trace grips?

Well, like any gun the wood feels like wood and the rubber feels like rubber
