I was lucky enough to see two different ones, plus several 2”ers. The triggers were uniformly great, and the balance was fantastic. I can see the front sight better with the slightly longer barrel, but my preference for 3” revolvers goes w-a-y back to my first gun, a S&W 64 that I still have.

Now I’m trying to figure out what I want to do about grips. The wood set this comes with is very pretty but impractical for me - too long and much too slippery. I might just put a set of Kimber polymers on it for now while I look for something else, I’m thinking G10s from someplace.

My ex-wife handled a 3" for many years and she wasn't impressed.

CM or inches? ;-)

Just ordered a fiber optic sight set, my aging eyes don’t do well with three dot sights. The Kimber FOs are plain on the rear which is my preference - my usual sights on semiautos are Ameriglo Hackathorns which have an orange front and plain rear.

Now, off to look at holsters. I’m normally a Kydex kinda guy, but I think this one deserves leather. I’ll probably also ask Ken Null to make me one of his upside down shoulder rigs, I’ve been using one for my J frame for decades and love it.

Check out Altamont - they offer both full and boot grips for the K6s.
I chose the Silverblack boot checkered for mine and very satisfied with fit and finish.

Hmmm. She's never complained to me. I just assumed she was a knife collector...

I’m not having any luck finding a set of takeoff Kimber polymer grips, so I might just spend the money for Altamonts or VZs. I just wish I could handle them first.
