New grips on my DCP

Altamont crocback and stipple grips.
I have about 400 rounds of 38 spl and 357 mag through it without a hitch. Four boxes of Speer Gold Dot 135 grain short-barrel 357 on order from Ammunition Depot. If this works out it will be my every day carry.

The grips make shooting even 125 gr 357 Gold Dots much more comfortable. Hopefully the short-barrel rounds will hit the sweet spot.

Looks great! I have Altamont grips on several pistols. Always fit well, good fast service. One time they sent the wrong color, one phone call, problem solved, they shipped the correct grip and told me to send the wrong grip back in that box on there dime.

I like them. Have them on my S&W 642.

I put the same size grip on my K6s, better than the ultra small boot style factory grips but still too small for someone with even moderately large hands. Still does not foster enough confidence to carry the K6 full time even with .38 spcl. I still have to reposition the K6 after three or four shots, so back to my S&W Shield I go. K6 will remain a safe queen until larger grips are available. it's a maddening shame.
