Well, the snow held off, so I took a Beretta Model 92S and the Kimber K6S 3" to the range.
The shooting was done from 30 feet, touching off a round about every 1.5 seconds. The Beretta target is on top right, and the Kimber on bottom left. Man, I own two other revolvers in .357 Mag, but I most certainly can shoot this Kimber better than the other two. I have no problem keeping my hits on the 6" paper plate, at 30 feet, with the other two, but I usually am kinda all over the plate. This Kimber can shoot, and I really didn't notice any POI change with .38, .38+P, or .357 Mag.
The trigger is great, and the three dot sights are super easy to use. I do all my revolver shooting in DA, because if I ever had to use any of my wheel guns for SD, I would probably not have the time to cock the hammer...obviously the K6S is DAO, so those shots were in that mode.
This is a fantastic wheel gun, and shooting 158 grain .357's, was no real issue. Yeah, there was more recoil than even the .38 Special + P's, but nothing someone who shoots on a regular basis couldn't handle.
I am very happy with this Kimber, and now am trying to decide what Glock to trade off towards a 1911 Kimber...full size, for that is the platform I used while I was in the military, and am missing a 1911 from my collection!
