K6S Trigger?

The K6S trigger is smooth and I like it. Can it be lightened from 10
Lbs to ...? If so, is there a kit or a tutorial?

Welcome to the forum Hemdell, how about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership.

Welcome to the forum from Northeast, Pa. I wouldn’t want a 10lb trigger either.

Welcome to the forum. I would not alter the already excellent trigger. It's lighter and smoother than any of my other revolvers. I've trained with my K6S in point-shooting and targeted, and others who shoot it also love that trigger.

Make it too light and you risk an accidental discharge under stress. I'd check with Kimber if you suspect your gun is heavier than it should be, or if they offer an option. I'd not go aftermarket on this gun, in any case. Are there even spring kits out there, yet, as there are for Rugers?

Shoot it Hemdell. Then shot it some more. After that...keep on shooting it.

Unless there is something wrong with your gun, the K6s trigger is very manageable and best in class.

DA revolver shooting is a skill and it takes some practice to get good at it. I'd put the time in there.

K6S trigger needs some work. I shoot a ruger match champion and have replaced the trigger and hammer springs. My DA is 7 pounds now with a SA of 1.5. Waiting for Wolff to start making spring kit for the k6s.
