K6s trigger job

good afternoon I'm new to Kimber talk and had a few questions has anyone on the Forum done any trigger work to their K6S. It's not that the trigger is bad but they can always be better with a little polishing

I'm of the opinion that if it's light and smooth enough for SD work already, leave it be. My K6S is smooth as silk, and though the recoil is a bit much for my wife, she also felt that the trigger was excellent.

Some polishing won't hurt, but I'm not a big believer is altering or swapping springs.

If you must......rebound springs for a j-frame are compatible as this part of the action is the same. Kimber uses a 16 lb. factory spring.

I cannot imagine any trigger work is needed on a Kimber revolver.

The K6S isn't a Target Revolver. It's fine for me right out of the box.

If this n-frame performance center double action trigger pull doesn't even compare, then the k6s should be left alone. This S&W is close to "perfect". It does have a trigger rebound spring that was reduced by two pounds. K6s out performs in every way until you run out of boo-lits, then S&W has two more left.
