K6s CDP Grips

Just purchased a new K6s CDP. Love it! One of my favorite Kimber's now. Does anybody know if the Crimson Trace Rosewood Laser Grips are any longer than the regular stock Rosewood Grips?

I do not have those grips but if you got the screw out, I would just put a toothpick in from the screw side and see if it will not go through. Then tap it with a hammer and they should separate. In the "olden days" with stuck wooden grips, just a tap on the frame with a plastic hammer was enough to separate them. I do not know if that will gork for the rubber grips but it is worth a try.
