question re: Control Core Grip and other alternatives

I'm considering the purchase of a K6S (probably 3" DAO) and was wondering if anybody here had opinions of the Control Core Grips? Generally speaking I do not like grips with finger grooves. Are there any aftermarket grips that cover the backstrap and DO NOT have finger grooves?

Let me say, I don't own a K6. I had never heard of Control Core Grips and had to look it up. So it looks like those are sold by Kimber, however like a lot of other items on there web page they are "Out Of Stock." The Kimber Control Core are priced right at $29 bucks but they could be a $1.00 and would be no help if they are always out of stock.

My suggestion is check the website Altamont Grips, may not be anything you like but they have the largest selection of K6 grips I've ever seen.

Me, I love finger groove revolver grips especially Smith & Wesson "Combat" finger groove stocks.

I called today and was told they're being discontinued. I was looking forward to getting a set to try out, since they left it on their site after the recent updates. Hopefully a used set will pop up somewhere.

Welcome to the forum PantaRhei, how about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership.

Discontinued? They just came out with them. Strange.

Hopefully there is something new in the works. Lack of grip options is the achilles heel of the K6 series.

Hogue has a rubber grip for the K6 in pre-order stage.

I was checking around looking for grip options and got a prompt response from Teresa in Hogue customer service who related that: "We do have the option of colors for the Rubber Monogrips for the K6s. The colors are as follows\

Black

Aqua

Purple

Pink"

That's welcome news. I guess I'd have to go with black out of those color options.

Hello. Is the new Hogue grip going to be for the concealed hammer or DASA versions? Did she happen to say?
