Hi! Just got my first Kimber revolver last night, the TLE. First revolver since 1988 to 1990 I carried a S&W 686 on and off duty. I know, times were different, we thought we were hot stuff. Anyway back to the question...sorry. Do these fit the K6s? I’ll use the model numbers to order. I’d love to use Safariland since I used them, but I’m starting over with this as far as what works, even trying to find a holster is challenging, everybody has a different version of what fits.
Thanks for any help,
Ken

When holding ammo does the Pachmayr rattle like the 5Stars do?

no, it does not because it has rubber o-ring inside that is used to tension - but it is a problem at the same time... I do not want to generalize, but at least with my copy of Pachmayr you can easily overtension when locking and as a result it will be VERY hard to release bullets... again - may be it is just my one copy - but I am not using it in the real life (because of that issue)... if you want something not rattling - get old good HKS (both models "10-A" and "DS-A" are the same)... they are cheap - but remember they lock/unlock in a different direction vs 5-star, etc... so

HKS (10-A & DS-A) and pachmayr both with 357 and 38sp will work for as long as you get rid of the stock wooded grips (or mod them to allow for more clearance) - some people suggest to file down some plastic from HKS - it is not necessary - just replace K6S wooden stock with Hogue Bantham or Kimber (made by CrimsonTrace) Control Core grips... Banthams are better in that sense (for speedloaders)... 5-Star or Kimber's are most compatible with any grips
