Where can I buys nights sights?

I love my Kimber K6S but I must admit that Iím not impressed with Kimberís inability to stock inventory on certain accessories... specifically, night sights and grips.

Iím interested in having nights sights installed on my K6S 2Ē DAO. Any suggestions on where to purchase them and who to have install them?

Thanks.

First, try Brownells, they've kept a very good inventory lately. Also direct to Meprolight, Trijicon, etc. Then a Google search if that fails.

Second, duplicate posts are frowned upon here, one is enough; we get it, you want night sights.

Midwest Gun Works sells all kinds of factory parts. Looks like most K6s sights are out of stock.

So I reached out directly to a few manufacturers about buying night sights. Here are their responses. I have tried to find out the manufacturer of the night sights Kimber offers on their website but I canít find who manufactures them. If any of you have that information then I would appreciate it. I might have better luck going directly to the source.
I have an email in with AmerigunUSA and Tooltech and Iím waiting on a response. I would really prefer to not go custom made if possible simply because I imagine it will be pretty costly. Thanks

Unless something has changed recently, the brand of night sights Kimber uses on all their 1911's are from Meprolight. I'd guess it would be the same on the K6 series.

I mean no offense but why the need for night sights on a 2" revolver?
I have owned a number of snubbies both without and without night sights and I have the ability to train in very low light at the range where I an RSO.
In my opinion, night sights and fiberoptics are at a disadvantage in low light conditions. In total darkness, I am not going to pull the trigger unless I can clearly identify my target which means I have a flashlight in hand.
What I have found with students, is offer them a laser and now you have the best of both worlds, good target acquisition in most lighting conditions and red dots scare the heck out of bad guys.
2" guns are basically close up and personal anyway so practice point and shoot with no sight picture. You will be surprised at the results.
