Kimber or Oregon 84 Firing Pin Help Needed.

I picked up an Oregonian Model 84 chambered in .221 Fireball a while back. I took it out yesterday for the first time and discovered the firing pin tip is broken. It looks like I need to replace the firing pin. Does anyone have any instructions on how to disassemble the bolt to do this?

Dan, download a copy of the owners manual from Kimbers website. Then open it to page 50, it's all explained there.

Thank you for your response, but I've already downloaded and reviewed the current Kimber rifle manual. The current, Yonkers, Kimber rifles depicted in the manual are equipped with Mauser type swinging bolt safeties. Oregon Kimbers do not have Mauser type swinging bolt safeties.

In doing my internet sleuthing, calling Yonkers Kimber Custom Service has proven futile for many others when issues arise with their Oregon Kimbers. I was hoping that some Oregon Kimber owner(s)/member(s) here could be of assistance.
