kimber montana in 338 win mag

thinking of getting a new montana in 338 win mag. i used to have a remington model 700 custom KS in 338 win mag and i regretable sold it. it shot real nice and i didn't mind the recoil at all , and it was a relatively light rifle.
i got a sako deluxe in 338 now that i'm thinking about selling to fund a new purchase, its a beautiful gun , but just to heavy to carry in the field all day .
what do you guys who shoot the 338 montana think of them? do they shoot good and what about the recoil ?
almost bought a winchester extreme weather in 30-06 , but the gun shop got the montana 338 there as well , and i do like the caliber and would love to own a kimber. just wondering if in 338 it will be too much gun. the 338 is a year old with the grey stock which i like better than the current color ones. problem is its mail order and i cant try the feel of either guns before i buy them. some say the stock on the extreme weather is a little chunky
