Kimber Model 82's

As I said in my intro thread, I acquired a few Model 82's through a friend of the family's estate. I have two Custom Classic 22lr with serial numbers that are only 90 apart and a Cascade 17k Hornet. I've found a little bit of info on the 22's but so far the stuff on the 17 is limited. I know only 88 were manufactured but have hit a wall as to sourcing a value.

I plan on adding these to my insurance so any info is appreciated.

Well I envy you having those rifles. I wish I could help you with info but I am afraid I know little about Kimber and its Oregon roots. I do own a few of there 1911's. If I ever come across a left hand bolt action Kimber I probably would buy it just because.

The 82s sell for around $1,200 on GunBroker if they are in good condition. That is the best chance of getting a realistic value and most insurance companies would accept that as a fair market value. A Super America 22LR would run about $2,000 to $3,000 depending on condition, wood grain, etc.!
