Bore Sight?

When the guy shipped my rifle, he removed the scope to be safe, going to put it back on and want to bore sight when I do.

What is the best bore sight? Are they all about the same? What do you guys have?

Thoughts?

If he just loosened the rings and took the scope off the base then I'd say just reinstall the scope and go shoot it. If he did a halfway decent job of mounting it you should be on paper and able to fine tune it to your liking.

That depends if it's one solid mount or 2 rings. Also you have to put it in the exact same spot on the rifle.

Bolt action? Remove bolt, set up rifle, look down the bore. At least do that.
I have a couple laser bore sights. Forget the brand, but one comes with a reflective target so you can see dot in the day time.

Not sure of my model, but this is one of them.

This is the one I have, I’m not going to say it’s the best but it does work

I might just do that Chuck. He just took the top half of both mounting rings off, bubble wrapped the scope then put the ring halves back on the bottom halves that remained on the rifle.
He stated it was sighted in but then never took it hunting. It looks and feels so good it makes me want to go "hunt" something.
