Action screw torque?

Can anyone recommend the torque values for the front and rest action screws on a Kimber Montana in 25-06? Factory recommended values would be good, but, what people have found that gives them the best accuracy would be even better.

My 25-06 Montana was shooting 1/2 inch groups. I took the action out of the stock to reduce the trigger pull weight, and now it is shooting 1-1/2 inch groups. Uhg.

Are these guns particulary sensitive to action screw torque?

I have called Kimber to get the torque numbers in the past. They will tell you.
